Storing beef cuts and ground beef

Beef cuts will keep in the freezer in airtight containers or sealed plastic bags for up to 6 months. At 30 degrees Fahrenheit, beef cuts will last for up to 7 days. Ground beef on the other hand will keep the freezer in airtight containers or sealed plastic bags for a period of up to 3 months. If not frozen, ground beef should be used within 2 days, but is is always better to use ground beef immediately.
