Ingredients
- 2 lb chicken pieces (skin removed) 905 g chicken pieces (skin removed)
- 3 cup fresh mushrooms (sliced) 720 ml fresh mushrooms (sliced)

Method
Place the chicken pieces in a crock pot. Place the onion, garlic, and mushrooms over the chicken, in layers. Add the remaining ingredients (tomatoes, wine, basil, oregano, thyme, red chili flakes, sugar, salt, black pepper), cover and cook on low heat for 7 to 8 hours, or on high heat for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
Serve with pasta and a simple green salad.
