Almond (Amaretto) affogato

- 1/3 cup heavy cream 80 ml heavy cream
- 1/2 cup strong Espresso 120 ml strong Espresso
- 1/2 cup Amaretto liqueur 120 ml Amaretto liqueur
- 4 scoops good quality vanilla ice cream 4 scoops good quality vanilla ice cream
Method
Prepare the Espresso coffee (you can also use 1 Tbsp instant Espresso powder dissolved in 1/2 cup hot water).
Beat the cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
Place 1 scoop of the vanilla ice cream into a tall glass. Top with 2 tablespoons of Espresso, 2 tablespoons of Amaretto and finish with a dollop of whipped cream. Repeat with the remaining 3 servings. Serve immediately.
