Red lobster style Cajun shrimp

Baked, spicy butter shrimp, the Red Lobster way. This dish is easy to make, great for seafood lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb medium or large size shrimps (shelled and deveined)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2–4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 3–4 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 1/4 tsp mustard powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices and crusty bread to serve with

Method

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) .

Add all herbs and spices in a large bowl and stir until well blended. Add the shrimp and toss until well covered in the spice mixture. Pour in the melted butter and mix well. Pour the shrimp in a 13 by 9 or similar size baking dish and bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until the shrimp is ready (baking time will depend on the size of the shrimp).

Serve the shrimp with crusty bread and lemon slices.
