Ingredients

- 2 cup sugar 480 ml sugar

- 2 cup lime juice (freshly squeezed) 480 ml lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 tsp grated lime zest (the green only) 9.9 ml grated lime zest (the green only)
- 2 cup tequila 480 ml tequila
- 1 cup triple sec 240 ml triple sec

Method
To make the syrup, bring the sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan. Simmer and stir constantly until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, cool and refrigerate.
Rub the rims of the glasses with a lime wedge and dip the rims in a plate that has Kosher salt.
In a large pitcher, all the ingredients including the sugar syrup and stir well to combine. Add the ice and stir again. Serve in the glasses that were prepared before.
