- 12 tbsp tequila 175 ml tequila
- 6 tbsp triple sec 89 ml triple sec
- 6 tbsp fresh lime juice 89 ml fresh lime juice

- Crushed ice Crushed ice
- 4 Lime wedges 4 Lime wedges
- Salt Salt
Method
Combine the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, lime zest (if desired) and crushed ice in a shaker and shake well.
To salt the glasses, wet the rim of each glass by rubbing it with a lime wedge and then dip the rim into a plate that contains Kosher salt (coarse ground salt).
Pour into margarita glasses and garnish with the lime wedges.
