Creamy, tomato based French style salad dressing

A rich, creamy and delicious French style salad dressing. ideal for almost any kind of salads.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 cup white wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp minced red or white onion
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method

Add all ingredients in a blender and process for about 1 minute at high speed, until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust with more salt, if desired.

Pour into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for several hours before serving. For best results, chill overnight.

Makes about 2 1/2 cups of salad dressing.
