Onion salsa recipe Share this recipe on FacebookA different salsa that can be used instead of the regular tomato salsa, this one uses a combination of white, red and green onions, together with garlic, jalapeno chili, and coriander.

Ingredients 1 white onion, peeled and finely chopped 1 red onion, peeled and finely chopped 4 green onions, finely chopped 1 bunch of fresh cilantro (coriander), finely chopped 1 ripe tomato, cubed 1/2 Jalapeno chili, finely chopped 3 cloves of garlic, minced
2 Tbsp tomato sauce A splash of red wine vinegar 1/2 tsp salt 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
Directions Combine the white onion, red onion, green onion, cilantro, tomato, jalapeno chili, and garlic into a bowl.
In another bowl combine the tomato sauce, vinegar, salt and vegetable oil and whisk until well combined.
Drizzle the dressing over the chopped onions and tomato and use a spoon to mix thoroughly, until well combined. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before serving. Back to Onion salsa recipe
